Blair Callaghan - Running Coach

Blair Callaghan is a trail and ultra runner based in Seattle, Washington. Blair was a team-sport athlete growing up and played lacrosse at the University of Redlands in California, where she studied biology. After college Blair moved to New York City where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. She has since practiced in private, outpatient clinics in Washington, D.C., San Diego, and now, Seattle.

Blair’s specialties are in orthopedics, sports, and vestibular/concussion management and she's also taken courses for returning athletes to sport following COVID-19. She first started running in college to get her fitness back for lacrosse season following an illness and has been hooked ever since.

Though Blair’s passions lie in trail and ultra running, she enjoys helping foster a love of running in all levels of athletes participating in all distances. Her favorite distance is currently the 50k but her guilty pleasure is a fast 10k around Lake Union and she even won a 5k last year. Blair hopes to encourage longevity in running, continued love of the sport, and healthy running habits. Blair didn't compete as a track or cross-country athlete growing up, and prides herself in helping to bridge the gap between the running world and those who are new to the sport.

Aside from running, Blair enjoys most outdoor activities (skiing, rock climbing, mountaineering, and walking around her neighborhood with coffee) and will send you pictures of her chubby cats whenever you ask. Whatever your goals in the sport of running might be, Blair would love to help you accomplish them.
