Jason Aloisio - Cycling Coach
Jason is dedicated to empowering individuals by enhancing their knowledge, confidence, and ability to take an active role in their training and overall well-being. His training and coaching approach is firmly rooted in the scientific method and enriched by his extensive experience as an educator and competitive adventure cyclist.
With over 20 years of teaching and mentoring experience, Jason has worked with individuals ranging from ages 7 to 70 in a variety of settings. He celebrates the uniqueness of each person and aims to co-create distinctive, sustainable training and wellness pathways. He approaches each athlete scientifically yet holistically, and firmly believes in the transformative power of cycling for health and well-being.
Jason’s journey is marked by countless hours of riding with friends in his youth, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, earning a PhD in Biology, working at the world’s largest conservation organization, and becoming an independent research consultant. His adventure achievements include being a nationally top-ranked amateur MTB marathon athlete, completing 280 road miles in a single day, and embarking on a 7,000-mile solo, self-supported cycling adventure from New York City to Belize and from Colombia to Chile over the course of five months.
